Big Weddings Are Back!

Since June 21st when the restrictions on numbers were relaxed we have been VERY busy with weddings as so many had postponed into this period and we've been astounded by how many wonderful, kind emails and cards have been sent to us, as well as from couples who were married before the rules were relaxed. 

It is such a great pleasure to be able to play a part in these momentous occasions, and here are a selection of the kind words that we have received, along with some photographs of the newly-weds too!



 Kind words from Rockbeare Manor wedding couples

  "I don't even know where to begin. Rockbeare Manor made our dreams come true. We finally got married on 21.05.21 after having to postpone twice before. We dealt with so many lovely members of staff in the lead up but must do a big shout out to Davy for helping plan every step to to the perfect day and being there on the day to support us both.

Also a huge shout out to Cameron for being an absolute star, always there by our sides and nothing was ever to much trouble for him (thanks for getting me deodorant and holding my spare shoes for the evening). 

All the food and drink was incredible from the canapes after the ceremony right up to breakfast the next day. When can we come back and do it all again? Love Mr and Mrs Allen xx" - 21st May 

"Dear Davy, We just wanted to get in touch to say a big thank you to you and your team for our recent wedding. During the difficult time of trying to plan a wedding during Covid you were so accommodating and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had the day we were wishing for! All our guests commented on how beautiful Rockbeare Manor is and how welcoming all the staff were." Emily and Neil - 28th May

 "Words cannot describe how simply amazing everyone at Rockbeare Manor have been. We finally tied the knot with them on 29.05.21 after 3 postponements due to covid and they really couldn’t have made our day any more special if they tried.

We were so worried and stressed about something else getting in the way but they took every single weight from our shoulders and we will never be able to thank them enough. 

Aimée and Jess in particular have been completely incredible throughout. Aimée was there by our sides through everything and has supported us with every single tough decision we have had to make over the last two years. 

We would also like to thank Jess for being such a reassuring help in the week leading up to our wedding and also being such an incredible help on the day itself - it felt like having another friend in our small, intimate wedding party!

We have had so many compliments from our guests in regard to our wedding venue and it's staff - we cannot recommend them enough. 



So thank you team Rockbeare for making our wedding the best day of our lives.

A note from the groom:

Just wanted to say how great the Rockbeare Manor team were in the planning and on the day! Let’s be honest it’s normally the bride that does the majority of the planning for the day so I know I was dreading having to try and remember everything! However Aimée in the planning and Jess on the day did nothing but reassure me and help me. Just also want to thank Davy for the pen as it turns out one of the most important things the registrar wanted me to get, I forgot  p.s the food was amazing!" Lorna and Brad - 29th May

 "I just wanted start by saying a massive and heartfelt thank you to you, Davy, Cameron, Jess, and the rest of the team at Rockbeare Manor. We had a fantastic day, and it was really down to you all. It was more than I could have asked or imagined.

Not only did Helen and Davy both support us with the date changes three times but also, after every chat and email, we both felt reassured and excited about our wedding. They really understood us and translated our random ideas into a beautiful day.

Everyone at Rockbeare Manor was kind and attentive. It was a long day, and we appreciated everyone's hard work. The day went so smoothly, and everyone had a lovely time. The food was delicious! The gnocchi a particular favourite of mine and the pasty a hit with Manu's family.

I am still on a high, and I cannot express how pleased and thankful I am. Thank you for making this such a special day for us both."

 "We just had our fantastic wedding at Rockbeare Manor. We cannot thank Jessica enough for restoring our faith and excitement for the wedding which was cancelled four times due to the pandemic.  "Dear Helen and the team, where do I begin … our whole day was faultless from beginning to end. Your staff were amazing… hard working, attentive, kind, efficient, professional and engaging.

The food from the canapés through to desserts was beyond delicious and the presentation superb. Our guests were blow away by the whole Rockbeare Manor experience. 

The sun shone! It was such an added bonus for everyone that we could enjoy the amazing gardens and grounds for the majority of our time with you and what a perfect backdrop for the amazing fireworks.

This will be a day we will look back on forever...faultless from dawn to dusk.
