Muddy Stilettos 2024
The Muddy Stilettos Awards are the most coveted awards for small independent lifestyle businesses across the country, and in 28 counties.
Reaching an astonishing 10 million people in 8 weeks, over 515,000 votes and nominations were cast nationally, making 2024 the most popular Muddy Awards to date.
Rockbeare Manor were nominated again this year, and again, we have won Gold !!! Thank you SO much - for all those that were kind enough to vote for us, in the category for
Best Event Venue.

South West Tourism Awards
After winning the gold award for Devon 'Wedding venue of the Year', Rockbeare Manor went through to the finals at the South West England Tourism Excellence Awards.
We attended a Black Tie dinner event and awards ceremony held in the Great Hall at Exeter University and we were over the moon to win another gold award, but this time, for the South West's Wedding Venue of The Year.
It's been quite a year, having achieved three gold medal awards from such reputable and worthwhile organisations. We do sincerely strive for the best in all that we do. Looking after our clients is so important to us and we're delighted that our efforts have been recognised in this way.
Devon Tourism Awards
After a long and meticulous judging process, we were so proud to receive the gold award for 'Wedding Venue of the Year' in the 2023 Devon Tourism Awards .
The awards ceremony took place in November where we stood side by side with so many other great events and tourism businesses in Devon - it was a huge honour to be invited onto the stage to receive the beautiful award, hand-crafted by Dartington Glass.
The competition is now in its 14th year and has continued to develop and modernise to reflect the ongoing innovation across tourism. This year has seen a greater-than-ever focus on accessible and inclusive tourism as well as sustainability, customer service and digital excellence.
Muddy Stilettos 2023
This award was a highlight for us as it was the first official accolade that we have received. Unbeknown to us, we were nominated, and a flood of votes followed ! This resulted in us being awarded the Best Wedding Venue in Devon by Muddy Stilettos – renowended for finding the ‘best of the best’ in a wide range of categories and sectors. Within a shortlist of 5 wedding venues in Devon, we couldn’t believe it when we received 47% of the total number of votes.
We even got chosen to go forward as a National Finalist where we were up against four other wedding venues. It wasn't our turn this time but there is always next year!
Best of Bridebook
Bridebook is the no.1 wedding planning app, and used by over 1.9million couples to plan their wedding. In 2022 we were awarded their ‘Best of Bridebook’ award, then in 2023 we went on to receive their ‘Platinum Best of Bridebook’ award.
