We were lucky enough to meet Leah in the summer of 2021 when she joined the Rockbeare Manor team on a part time basis, assisting on the weddings and events. She’s been around hospitality since a young age. One of her first jobs at the age of 14 was in the local pub where she worked front and back of house, but couldn’t wait until she was old enough to pour her first pint! Since then, Leah has worked in various customer facing roles, within the airline and prestige motor industries, but her heart has always been in hospitality. So when the opportuntiy arose for her to join us as a full time Event Manager she jumped at the chance!
Leah is always on the go, she’s got fantastic attention to detail, she’s calm and collected, loves sport and cycling, and is a self-confessed chatterbox!!

Do you have any top tips for couples getting married?
Make the planning fun! Don’t feel pressured to tick everything off the list at once – take it one step at a time so that you can enjoy it. Most importantly try and relax on your wedding day. It will go in the blink of an eye, trust your suppliers, pause for a moment, slow down, take it all in and treasure those moments.
