Event Manager

We were lucky enough to welcome William to the team in the summer of 2023 and he’s no stranger to hospitality, having worked within independent food retailers and restaurants for 10 years. His experience as the Manager of a busy country pub in Devon has made the transition to events seamless.  William is calm and collected, a great problem-solver and true hospitality pro! He’s settled into the team like a dream and already has had so many lovely cards and notes of thanks from happy Brides and Grooms.

What do you love most about working in weddings and hospitality? 

The people! You meet people from all walks of life, from all over the world. I love chatting to them, getting to know them, and hearing the stories that they have. No two days are the same.

Random fact about you:

I’m a member of an amateur dramatics society and have performed in many productions, including the South West One Act Play Festival where we went on to perform in the regionals which was an amazing experience.

Do you have any top tips for couples getting married?

Choose things that are personal to you – don’t just follow the trends. Less is more. Tasteful and meaningful details will be the most memorable.
